Bill Gates is one of the most prolific inventors in history. In his career, he has had more than 200 patents granted to date that have helped shape our digital world as we know it today. His parents divorced when he was young, and Gates often visited his father, who worked as a janitor at Boeing. Shortly after his divorce, Gates met Paul Allen, who would later become Microsoft’s first business partner.
